Hi Chu is a classic of Japanese candy from Morinaga, and a very unique one at that. If you have never had Hi Chu it's a must for its intense flavour (Grape) and very unusual texture which is like a cross between chewing gum and regular chewy candy. With most chewy candies they disintegrate fairly quickly but by some curious confectionary technology this just keeps on chewing for ages.
