Nestle Violet Crumble

This one's like a great big Crunchie except the bubbles inside are much finer and more brittle. However it's not violet and it doesn't taste of violets so why it's called a Violet Crumble your guess is as good as mine. If you know please tell us!

It is called a Violet Crumble as it was named after the wife (Violet) of the company's owner - Hoadley. The wrapper was made violet to match the name.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing chocolate-honey goodness 7 May, 2007

I grew up with Violet Crumble in Manila, Philippines. When I moved to London three years ago I scoured all the shops for this and heard from a friend working at Nestle that they were only available in Australia. I was absolutely delighted when I found Cybercandy. They just bring back memories of american goodies too!! They're a softer version than Cadbury's Crunchie and the honeycomb melts in your mouth milder than the overly-solid honeycomb of Crunchie.

It's called a violet crumble because the wrapper is the colour violet.... duh.

I've loved this candy for years. I'm surprised that you can't get them in the states. We can buy them in our grocery stores here in Hawaii!
