Magic Choc

Aloha Chocolate Lovers,

This week I thought I’d share something really exceptionally special with you. Yes, I know all of our candy yumness is special, but this is something that you can not only eat, but play with too!

As if chocolate couldn’t get any better, now there’s Magic Choc! Magic Choc is a chocolate play set, made from delicious white, dark and milk Belgian chocolate that is exactly like modelling clay, or Play Dough. We don’t know how they’ve done it (it’s a closely guarded secret), but the chocolate is soft enough to model into amazing shapes, yet still remains ‘set’ so there’s no fear of messy melted chocolate all over your hands.

The coolest thing of all is that once you’re finished playing with your food, erm… sculpting your chocolate masterpiece… you can eat the lot! Perfect for holidays, kids parties, boring Sunday afternoons, for making under your desk when you should be working, keeping yourself amused on the train, and so much more. As well as tasting absolutely fantastic (it truly is made from gourmet Belgian chocolate), the three different colours are perfect for moulding contrasting shapes. For instance, you could create a white chocolate cat body, with dark chocolate ears and a milk chocolate tail. What’s more, it’s even suitable for vegetarians.

Candy Recipe Yumness!

Buon giorno Candy Fans,

Recently we’ve been having a lot of fun on our Facebook page with delicious recipes using some of your favourite candy. It seems that every recipe we come across is as delicious as the last and we still have plenty more to share with you so make sure you keep an eye on our page.

Cooking with candy is a delicious way to pass a wet weekend at any time of year, and even better for keeping the young ones out of mischief and teaching some them valuable cooking skills. So, whether you’re brewing up a batch of root beer cookies, or whipping some M&M cup cakes into shape, then you’re actually encouraging a future generation of young chefs…in effect, you are helping to save the world! Well, that’s our excuse and we’re sticking to it. ψ(*`ー´)ψ

The Tim Tam Slam

G’day Candy Lovers,

We love candy. It’s no secret. We love searching for the best candy that the world has to offer and sometimes it literally does come from the other side of the planet, in biscuit form. Although biscuits may not technically be candy, the delicious ones that are covered in chocolate definitely have a place in the Cybercandy kingdom. This week, I’d like to introduce you to a gorgeous chocolate covered biscuit-y dream from the very heart of Australia…

Arnott’s Tim Tam

As you may or may not know, the Australian people are a modest bunch, even though they have much to boast about – the constant sunshine, the beautiful scenery and the cool accent. However, there is a biscuit, a delicious chocolate malted biscuit sandwich with a creamy chocolate centre – the most famous biscuit that our friends down under have to offer.

Zero to Hero!

Hola Candy Friends,

With all the excitement of the long weekend nearly behind us, the Great British public are winding up the bank holiday ready for the en-masse commute back to the office. Don’t panic though, you are never alone whilst you have sweet treats to help stave off that back-to-work boredom. Help is at hand my friends….

Not only is it a three day working week – hoorah! – but there is a hero just waiting in the wings to give you a mid-week candy fix and lift those spirits with a sweet sugar rush to see you through to the weekend. Double hoorah! And here it is, your hero for the week ahead…

Zero it may be called, but zero it most definitely is not. A truly unique offering from The Hershey Company, the Zero bar can only be described as a delicious mix between a Mars and a Snickers. It may be packaged up  in an understated wrapper, but this gorgeous candy bar is chocked with crunchy peanuts, gooey caramel and creamy almond nougat, topped with deliciously unusual white fudge. You may have noticed a word missing… chocolate. In fact, the Zero bar contains absolutely no chocolate at all! *GASP*
