Nestle Butterfinger: Many of the most famous brands of chocolate and confectionery were introduced in the 1920's in the US. Americans suddenly developed a greater appetite for ice cream, soft drinks and confectionery. The likely cause was the introduction of Prohibition in January 1920! Butterfinger was introduced in 1923. It's a peanut crunch bar with a thick chocolate coating. Because of its crumbly texture it makes a good topping for cheesecake or sundaes. It's often used in ice cream and other recipes.

They are great, my girlfriend got addicted to them during her pregancy. She emailed Nestle UK. Apparently they didn't sell well when they tried them in the UK? Strange........they're great!!

I don't like peanut butter, but I adore these. There are three different cup cakes, one with a sweet butterscotch type topping, one with m&m style sweets and the other with Buncha Crunch (cereal). They're quite filling and seem pretty substantial for such small cups.
