The chocolate is dark and friable; the filling rich and suitably chestnutty. This is one of the least eccentric Zotter bars, but it is also one of the nicest.

Having sampled several of the Zotter range, the overpowering nature of the chocolate and liquor parts is a recurring theme. This honey variant is a prime example - only at the very extremes of your palate do you detect the flowery sweetness. Disappointing.

As with others in the Zotter range, the emphasis in taste seems to be on the chocolate and liquor components of the bar rather than the filling - the flavour, when detectable, is excellent, but it should be so much fuller and more strident. Nice enough though.
