As a kool-aid consumer of over 30 years I have sampled quite a few flavors over that time, and this is the best flavour in my book. As for the sugar content...add to taste. Personally I use 3/4 c of sugar sweetener, where my Mom always used 1/2 to 3/4 c of sugar.
