Not like traditional wesern sweets these are a lot less sweet with a chewy, but not a stick to your teeth chewyness. Bouncy is probably a better way to describe it actually. the taste is subtle as well.

These were pretty gross and I cant even get visitors to eat them! Musty smell and taste,not nice at all.

these have a similar flavor and texture to grapes i picked as a child and squeezed right out of their skin and into my mouth. for me the pleasure is profound and the flavor right on the mark. there's really no other candy to compare them to. i'm amazed the japanese candy makers can concoct such a gem.

Muscat is a varietal. For those confused as to why it doesn't taste like the standard sacharine grape flavour you're used to, it's a different type of grape. Just FYI.
