Nestle Pollywaffle

This wins the award for the most weirdest name in choccie bardom. Wow! A waffle wafer tube filled with spongey marshmallow and coated in chocolate. It's ginormous, it's gorge.

4 out of 5 stars Delicious 26 Jan, 2010
Reviewer: from Scotland
I bought a Polly Waffle in a store in Tasmania just a couple of weeks ago and it was probably THE best one I've ever had in my life. I did hear Nestle are discontinuing the line due to poor sales, but a decent ad campaign would keep these on the shelves

1 out of 5 stars Stupid name. Stupid bar. 1 Jun, 2009
Reviewer: A customer from Melbourne, Australia
I saw the Polly Waffle in the shop and thought, 'What a horrible name. I must buy it.' It was even more rubbish than I expected. I bit into the bar and all the chocolate coating fell off and landed on my pants, making my pants brown - not the role of a chocolate bar. In fact, this stupid bar should be called 'Pants Brown' - much more appropriate.

5 out of 5 stars addicted! 25 Sep, 2008
Reviewer: A customer from London
Im not usually a big chocolate bar fan, but i bought three of these yesterday and only have one left now! ok so the chocolate isnt great, but the combo of wafer/ choc/ mallow works so well, they are addictive, its hard not to eat a whole one at once!

1 out of 5 stars Disappointing 15 Sep, 2008

Great name but a pretty horrible candy bar. The marshmallow is a bit sparse and the chocolate is simply awful, not to mention the wafer.

4 out of 5 stars Nice and sweet 11 Jul, 2007
Reviewer: A customer from Northumberland
The Pollywaffle (got to love that name!) is big but light, so it's not too filling. The chocolate is a bit bland, but the crunchy/chewy texture and taste of the light mallow and crispy wafer is very nice. The whole thing is very, very sweet, so one is definitely enough.

2 out of 5 stars No thanks. 14 Aug, 2006
Reviewer: simple_plan1488@hotmail.com from Glasgow
Didn't like this too much. But I didn't expect much from what I read in the reviews. The wafer was kinda stale and I hated the way the chocolate crumbled off. I like the name though.

5 out of 5 stars yummy and strangely addictive..... 24 Dec, 2005
Reviewer: joolzipoo from Glasgow
I ordered one of these ages ago - purely because of it's mixed reviews (and the name swung it a bit too). It was so yummy - totally different from anything I've had in the UK. The parcel came whem my parents were out and i thought that I should keep them a wee bit each...The bits became smaller and smaller..and I sort-of had it finished in record time. It's something very addictive too...you tell yourself that you'll savour it but it never works. My bro is now doing a year in Australia and I'm counting on him bringing me back some of these bad boys!

2 out of 5 stars disappointing 16 Aug, 2005
Reviewer: Tez from Birmingham
the only thing I liked about this was the mallow in the middle - that was yummy and I could eat loads of that! But the 'chocolate' tasted waxy and the wafer tqasted like coffee... not the nicest bar! Was a decent size though!

Reviewer: Choccy Monster from London
This is such a great bar! My whole family thought it was fab, and i do too. The mallow is lovely and gooey, the chocolate is yummy and the wafer is crispy. It works so well and i will definitely be buying more of these! Its huge too, and well worth the money. Anyone who doesnt like it can send theirs to me!!!!!!! Purlease?!

1 out of 5 stars Oh my god-it is FOUL!!!! 1 Sep, 2004
Reviewer: A customer from Horsham, West Sussex.
Imagine you had a wafer that was all chewy covered in chocolate that doesn't really taste of chocolate and them insert some foam rubber in the middle and Hey Presto - you have a Pollywaffle. How can anyone like these?

5 out of 5 stars Tasty but not overly sweet 5 Aug, 2004
Reviewer: A customer from Minnesota, USA
A friend gave me a few of these from Australia. I find that they are not overly sweet as some chocolate bars can be. They do have a lot of flavor and I like the crunch you get when eating them.

I have not ever had more than one bite of a polly waffle. I hate them, they are too sweet, and too fake!! I don't think marshmallow and chocolate works together, but that is just me.

5 out of 5 stars Big, light, fake, fun 19 Oct, 2003
Reviewer: A customer from London
I love these because they're enormous, so you feel like you're getting a lot of chocolate bar, but it's just air and marshmallow, so you're not getting many calories, but you don't feel shortchanged. They don't taste like a real chocolate bar at all, but they sure as heck are fun.
