Milky
Japanese candy is THE style accessory for err.. 2002. No self respecting fashionista should be seen without it. It is no coincidence therefore that we begin our selection of Japanese candy with the ultra chic, ultra cool, post-ironic: Milky. The high quality cardboard box displays that subtle blend of futuro-retrovistic graphics that only a Japan man can (or Japan woman!). Even the individually wrapped sweets are modern classics. The sweets themselves, once you get through all the packaging, are a rather pleasant ball of condensed milk style toffee.

Once you get past the pretty packaging and the cute individual chocolates, you realise that they're a bit disappointing. The filling just tastes vaguely milky, but they're inoffensive, so you could do a lot worse than buying them.

When I got this box of sweets I was intrigued but now I'm just in love. The best way to describe these are little chewy toffes that taste like non-frozen mini milk.

I bought these because I saw them in a magazine. When I tried these, I agreed with the magazine review because the sweets do taste like milk and they're quite sweet. The packaging makes this product worth buying.

Sweet little box, could do with more sweets inside but thats probably better on one's waistline. Milky toffee, not too sweet, and quite hard. But very very good! :)
