Nestle Peppermint Crisp
Now do you believe us? Mint and chocolate. But hold on a gawdang minute. This ain't no ordinary mint and chocolate bar. We can tell you now that the name Peppermint Crisp seriously undersells this bar. When we first sampled it we were utterly shocked, inside at first glance it looks like a Peppermint Aero. Chocolate coating with a bright green bubbly inside, except that the inside isn't green chocolate like Aero, it's a very brittle crispy brittle mint construction. I'm not explaining this very well am I? Well you'll just have to buy one then!

I adored this bar - too much - it was gone in a flash! The soft chocolate is a great contract to the mellow sharp texture of the solid minty flakes inside. Lovely flavour and texture all round. Definitely worth getting, and more than one, too!

This bar was great. My brother and I both loved it. I would say it has the exact same taste as mint matchmakers since they are also made by nestle. Same strength of mint taste and sweetness. But it is completely filled with the mint cracknel all the way through so much better. Very light crispy and crumbly. Reminds me of the old bar you could buy in the UK as a child called and Icebreaker.

I found these bars whilst in Australia, totally amazing. The first thing i look for when i return. When you open the wrapper the dark choc is the first thing you see and then bite into the mint crackenal. It's refreshing/it's chocatley and very moorish. This bar is heaven in a green wrapper.

Ever since my school days, have I searched for a replacement to Mint Cracknel. Chocolate coated mint candy, so sharp it would often scratch the roof of your mouth with a strong delicious minty flavour.
Unfortunately, this is all i can find and i have to admit to being a little disappointed. Chocolate is OK, minty flavour is OK but could be stronger but the texture is too powdery.
Just my opinion anyway

I have the good fortune of living in South Africa where a great variety of chocolates are available, both imported and local. I have yet to meet a person who does not simply adore Peppermint crisp.No amount of explaining can fully describe this little number. So do yourself a favour and get some. It also makes the easiest, most delicious fridge tart!!!
